Photography is strong in my genes, and my parents are my original inspiration. I remember Mom trusting me behind her "big camera" when I was a wee one, after begging her to let me take the family picture on many a Sunday afternoon hike. I've been using my family as photo guinea pigs ever since.

I got my first camera when I was in high-school, a film Minolta Freedom Zoom 140ex, and I've been obsessed with taking pictures since then. 18,000 rolls of film later, I ventured into the land of digital Nikon, and dream of someday venturing back into film, if I'm ever brave enough to do large format film photography.

When I'm not taking photos, I'm on the back of one of my horses or snuggling with my dog.
